Nepal Screensaver – The Beauty of Nepal on Your Monitor
Nepal, a landlocked country in South Asia, is located in the Himalayas and it bordered by China to the north and by India to the south, east and west. By land mass, Nepal is the 93rd largest country in the world; by population, it is the 41st most populous country in the world.
If you would like to experience the beauty of Nepal, one way you could do that is by getting a free Windows screensaver offered by free-slideshow.com. I am of course talking about the aptly named Nepal Screensaver, a slideshow screensaver that pops up when your computer goes idle, and starts displaying images of Nepal in sequence.
That’s what slideshow screensavers do. Slideshow screensavers display an image for a bit, then use a transition effect to move to another image, display that image for a bit, then use a transition effect to move to another image. That is precisely what Nepal Screensaver does.
From the Settings menu you can customize your Nepal Screensaver experience. You can play with the following:
- Specify for how long an image will be displayed before the screensaver moves on to the next image. You don’t have to stick with the 3-second default. You can choose one of several preset values, like 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes.
- Select which transition effect you would like the screensaver to use, assuming you have a favorite one of course, or choose if you want the screensaver to “Cycle through all effects”.
- Adjust the speed of the transition effects.
- Select the background color.
- Check the “Put wallpaper on desktop” option and one of the screensaver’s images will be turned into your wallpaper.
you may want to take a look at the technical details presented below before you go get Nepal Screensaver,:
Download – the download weighs in at 4.6MB, which is good news. It means it will take very little time for the download to complete, even if you are on a less than spectacular internet connection.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, the screensaver provides support for Windows 9x, NT, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
Limitations – there are none, you can use the screensaver free of charge for as long as you want.
